This weekend, the History Channel is observing the 20th anniversary of the miniseries Lonesome Dove.

If you have not seen this classic western miniseries, I recommend you rent the DVD. It is about 6-7 hours long.

The miniseries was based on the classic western Lonesome Dove written by author Larry McMurtry. Unlike many movies based on books, the movie version follows the book's plot and story line almost perfectly. Just as important, the actors portray their respective characters just as you imagined McMurtry intended them to be.

Some of the noted actors include: Robert Duvall, Tommy Lee Jones, Robert Urich, Angelica Huston, Danny Glover, Dianne Ladd, Chris Cooper, and Frederic Jones.

McMurtry actually wrote 4 books in the Lonesome Dove series. Yes, I have read them all and they are excellent.

That is the best literary critique you can offer? Maybe you should read the likes of Green Eggs and Ham. :)

Ty is stunned that Oregon posted something that doesn't include oregon.

Or, will ty be surprised to find Lonesome Dove is about Oregon Cowboys?

See. I knew there had to be an explanation.

Depaul ranking...i'd be curious to see other schools ranked. I coudn't find one by googling..shows a ton of IP law. I bet it falls under that..as that is one of depaul's stronger fields. I wasn't even aware of cpl...but, it sounds like she will be fighting the good fight...or the bad fight..working for developers.

But, i do see Stanford and Vandy in that field.

Tier: Top 100. Ok. But, it is more to the bottom....nowhere near where yale is. But, if they are paying...that is a huge bonus.

She has a masters..and she didn't want to stay in the field. Yikes.

I am Sam

I am Sam

Sam I am

That Sam-I-am

That Sam-I-am!

I do not like

that Sam-I-am

Do you like

green eggs and ham

I do not like them,

Sam-I-am.

I do not like

green eggs and ham.

Would you like them

Here or there?

I would not like them

here or there.

I would not like them

anywhere.

I do not like

green eggs and ham.

I do not like them,

Sam-I-am

Would you like them

in a house?

Would you like them

with a mouse?

I do not like them

in a house.

I do not like them

with a mouse.

I do not like them

here or there.

I do not like them

anywhere.

I do not like green eggs and ham.

I do not like them, Sam-I-am.

Would you eat them

in a box?

Would you eat them

with a fox?

Not in a box.

Not with a fox.

Not in a house.

Not with a mouse.

I would not eat them here or there.

I would not eat them anywhere.

I would not eat green eggs and ham.

I do not like them, Sam-I-am.

Would you? Could you?

in a car?

Eat them! Eat them!

Here they are.

I woould not ,

You may like them.

You will see.

You may like them

I would not, could not in a tree.

Not in a car! You let me be.

I do not like them in a box.

I do not like them with a fox

I do not like them in a house

I do mot like them with a mouse

I do not like them here or there.

I do not like them anywhere.

I do not like green eggs and ham.

I do not like them, Sam-I-am.

A train! A train!

A train! A train!

Could you, would you

on a train?

Not on a train! Not in a tree!

Not in a car! Sam! Let me be!

I would not, could not, in a box.

I could not, would not, with a fox.

I will not eat them with a mouse

I will not eat them in a house.

I will not eat them here or there.

I will not eat them anywhere.

I do not like them, Sam-I-am.

If you will let me be,

I will try them.

You will see.

Say!

I like green eggs and ham!

I do!! I like them, Sam-I-am!

And I would eat them in a boat!

And I would eat them with a goat...

And I will eat them in the rain.

And in the dark. And on a train.

And in a car. And in a tree.

It took completing a masters to figure this out!! This must be your side of the family.
