Teen Falls Asleep During Face Tattoo


In the general category of "OMG," this Belgian teenager supposedly fell asleep while getting her face tattooed and woke up to 56 Rihanna-style stars on her face. Now, she's suing the tattoo artist, claiming he misunderstood her. The artist counters that Starface is only peeved because her boyfriend dumped her after seeing the monstrosity.

Um, how do you "doze off" while getting your face inked? Getting a tattoo isn't like going to the meditation room at the Four Seasons. It's loud. There's drilling. It also hurts. A lot. Lastly, it's your face.

Plus, getting tattoos removed hurts almost as bad, leaves scars and takes ages, so there's no real (laser) light at the end of this tunnel.

Regardless of who's telling the truth, the lesson here is that when you're permanently inking something on your bod, it's your responsibility to stay awake to make sure the tattoo artist doesn't "misunderstand" anything.

Did this chick get a raw deal or just lack common sense?

I actually like it on her. It suits her well. it is the offical uniform for the dumbass. now when she applys for a job or you just see her walking down the street you already know she is a dumbass. you don't have to wonder, no questions to ask.

Where can this guy expect to get a serious job application except for a Tattoo Parlour?

What concerns me is the number of young people who do not seem to realize than many people hiring job applicants screen out applicants sporting tattoos and body piercings.

First of all, Harlan, neither of my daughters would EVER go with a guy like that! :shock:

In the unlikely event one of them would go out with him, I would just get a powerful magnet, put it to the guy's mouth, and lead him off the property. :)

Not a Superstar: Teen 'Scarred' by 56 Tattoos Admits She Lied

A teenager who claimed 56 stars were tattooed on her face while she slept has admitted she lied and was awake the whole time.

London's Daily Telegraph reported Kimberley Vlaminck, who said she fell asleep after asking for only three stars, lied because her father was "furious."

She initially insisted she dozed off after asking the tattoo artist for just three small stars – then awoke in horror to find her face was covered with 56 stars. The Belgian teenager blamed the Flemish-speaking tattoo artist for not being able to understand her French and English instructions and threatened to sue.

"I asked for 56 stars and initially adored them,” Vlaminck told a Dutch TV crew. “But when my father saw them, he was furious. So I said I fell asleep and that the (he) had made a mistake."

Typical melodrama plot. Daddy's little girl thinks she did good but then is suddenly struck by the truth that she's been starred for life. Instead of an honest reassessment of her own actions, she tries to blame the immigrant with the funny accent.

Personally I don't think she went far enough. Needs more stars. Can someone with photoshop skills help her out?
