I had not seen this video before. Pretty Favre like. Would have been hilarious if it happened in a real game.

I don't think that would be legal.

Probably not...but if it did happen and they ruled it incomplete I would be screaming at the television for them to throw the flag and challenge it...

I've often wondered if the ball hits the goal post is it considered dead on the spot or can the play resume? I don't even know if there is a rule for this either.

On another note, looking at related videos, I came across this video of all Rodger's TD's for 2008. I noticed that Rodgers first 8 TD passes or so were all on 3rd down. Rodger's must have been very good on 3rd down last year.

From "Ask Jerry Markbreit"

Is the crossbar considered out of bounds? It seems like it would be, but what would be the call in the unlikely scenario that a player jumped so high for a catch that a part of his body (not the ball) touches the crossbar and then lands with both feet in-bounds? Is it a catch? What if the contact with bar occurred before the pass was caught? --Brandon Fish, Austin, Texas

Sometimes the crossbar and uprights are inbounds and sometimes they are out of bounds. When an attempted point after touchdown or field goal hits any part of the goal post and rebounds through, the kick is successful. In this case, the entire goal post remains inbounds. If a punt strikes any part of the goal post, the ball is dead immediately because it has gone out of bounds. The same thing exists for a pass that hits the crossbar. In your play, the player who touches the crossbar before catching the ball is considered out of bounds and therefore cannot be the first player to touch the ball. No catch.

On this one we see the early Aaron Rodgers and Greg Jennings chemistry. I love the long catch and run by Jennings Vs Dallas.

Awesome find. I enjoyed that video. I'm pumped! Bring on Favre and the Vikings! It'll be a high scoring game, that's for sure!

I was a fan of the completed first down pass from the endzone that the ref decided he didn't like so he called intentional grounding despite the fact that no rule or evidence supported him...only his mind reading of Rodgers when they later determined it was grounding because Rodgers didn't actually KNOW the reciever was there when he threw for the first down.

That and the NFL was out to get us last year for the way we treated their cash cow.
