I don't think there is any way he is good to go by week 1...

Time table is 6-12 weeks, hes an older player so it might take a little longer...

The only thing is the Bears don't use much man to man coverage, and mainly stay with cover 2... Cover 2 corners are a lot easier to plug in (see: Colts)

I'd be scared shitless if I were you. Those back problems end careers. Medical science is good but that's one thing they can't always fix 100%.
