What I found most interesting is that the Chicago writer here tried to play off Cutler's public comments as "leadership" from a franchise quarterback. He says that franchise QB's can "lead" in ways that allow them to be more critical than, say, a Kyle Orton kind of guy.

I have been telling my Bear fan friends that there has to be a reason one of the widely respected men in football, Pat Bowlen, let this guy walk. We might just be witnessing the reason.

This guy just doesn't learn. It takes a lot to get me off a bandwagon, but I'm considering jumping ship because this guy is just a kook.

The sad thing is, this kid could have been a great QB. Too bad he and Ryan Leaf share some brain cells...
