This whole thing has officially gone from retarded to straight up gay. Brett Favre is gay. My apologies to those 3 people who still have some kind of respect for the guy.

I'd say truth is stranger than fiction here, but that would be understating it. Bizarre. I don't think motivation will be a problem for the Packers against Minnesota this year.

Less than three weeks after telling the good people of the world he was unable to compete at an NFL level and would stay retired, Brett Favre is set to sign a contract with the Minnesota Vikings for a sum somewhere between $10 and $12 million, according to ESPN senior analyst Chris Mortenson.

A source close to Favre said that the deal was pending a physical. Separate reports early Tuesday morning indicated that Favre and his wife Deanna had boarded a Viking-owned private plane bound for Minneapolis at 10 a.m. ET in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

The plane is expected to land in Minneapolis at about noon ET, and Favre is expected to take a physical later Tuesday.

Sources told Hattiesburg television station WDAM, which initially broke the story, that Favre had said prior to boarding: "We may know something by dinner."

Vikings coach Brad Childress confirmed the report in an e-mail to the Associated Press Tuesday that the former Green Bay great was indeed traveling from Mississippi to meet with team representatives.

When asked if Minnesota planned to sign Favre, Childress quipped: "In a perfect world."

I just hope that if he plays, he is as indecisive in the pocket as he's been abut his career.
