He needs to go out there and have some success Friday (against Arizona)
Did MM possibly slip? Is Az Brohm's last chance to show something?
Tampa has a promising young QB for sale.

One thing I thought most important from that story.
Brohm is getting closer to a lost cause for this season. I wouldn't dump him yet, but it wouldn't shock me if the Packers picked up a roster cutdown veteran and they let Brohm go. Watching Brohm vs. Buffalo was BROO-TAL.

Which one? Freeman, Johnson or McCown?

Johnson. Freeman isn't available and McCown is pretty ordinary.

Really, though, MrAynRand has humorously hit the nail on the head - Brohm has lost all confidence. He's turning into the Steve Sax of quarterbacks.

If he has half the career of sax we are in great shape.

Not if it echoes the part of Sax's career where he couldn't throw the baseball to first base!
Before all that, yes. Half of that would be good.

It is unfortunate for you that it appears you have alzheimers.
Sax had problems early in his career and got better. Otherwise your original analogy doesn't work.
Sax: 2 world series rings and about 5 or 6 all star games.
If you want a player that got worse..Knoblauch.

Either that, or I'm so damn old that this is the part I remember (from usatoday.com):
"The NL Rookie of the Year in 1982, Sax suddenly lost his ability to make throws to first base on the easiest of plays in 1983. He said he felt like a 'prisoner.'
As Sax worried about his grip and his arm angle, his throwing became so bad that fans behind the first base dugout began donning batting helmets."

Sax made the majors i think in 81 or so. He had problems early but by the late 80s he was solid and actually lead the league in fielding percentage.
The best line was from Pedro Guerrero who said that he feared having the ball hit to him after he moved to third, and secondly...having it hit to Sax. Something like that.

Yeah, I only remember him as rookie of the year in '82 and how he fell apart so quickly in '83.
You are correct that he did overcome that problem and was a very good player.
Geez, the guy struggles to overcome his mental block and succeeds - and that's the part I forget. Oops.

Knoblauch as a yankee would be the opposite type career.
Steve Blass disease. Nowadays a player would get treated for it
correctly. Look at at the social anxiety disorders we see..Khalil Greene for one, etc.
Wimps, all of them..taking meds. Back in the day, a real man solved his problems with alcohol.
