Well - here's what he did with Flynn back as the holder today:

Crosby: 28 good, 32 good, 36 good, 39 good, 44 good, 47 good, 48 good, 50 good. 8 for 8.

:D

Yes, but what did he do from 64?

This is what I really worry about: McCarthy going all delusional about Crosby's leg in a real game and sending him in to try a FG from some outlandish distance.

To answer the thread topic question, though...

Yes, I am worried about Crosby.

I'm not worried about him when it's 38-10, but at the end of the game, when shit's on the line... that's where I'm not sure I trust him.

Lots of talk about A-R at the end of the game (just like being "injury prone" the year before) but it ain't AR I'm worried about. Crosby better nail some important kicks this year. If he doesn't we're a 10-6 team.

I think Crosby is the least of our worries. His holder? Well, that's another story. Therein lies the problem.

When we get a decent punter/holder, we'll be golden.

What are you worried about more? Punter? Sure, but not as critical of a position ... Holder ... obviously.

Not a whole lot else... SS spot maybe but you have to have a non-pro bowler somewhere! :D

Honestly, I'm worried that things are too good to be true. We'll see shortly.

I'm too much of a "math guy" to buy into any of that. Logically, what we're seeing adds up on paper. This is not a group of "overachievers" IMO ... these are very skilled football players, methodically and systematically put together.

(Damn, this season needs to start!!)

According to JSO, he was also 23 for 23 in practice before Martin took over on Tuesday.

That's why they play the games. We'll see. If math logic held, I'd be on the next plane to Vegas.

Yeah no shit. We wont be "kicker shopping" anytime soon.
