Comcast and Forbes has an article about the "Most Valuable" NFL teams in terms of financial assets.
Yes, the #1 team is the Dallas Cowboys headed by billionaire Jerry Jones. The #2 team is the Washington Redskins owned by billionaire Dan Snyder.
Most of the top 10 teams are either in the Northeast or the oil-rich state of Texas.
The Packers are ranked #17.
Certainly, the NFL is becoming more of a business than a sport. Are we headed towards, or are we currently in, an era where the most successful teams in won-loss records are also the most financially prosperous teams?
