Still, "roughing the passer" is one of the most inconsistently called penalty in the league. Guys get called on it for hits that, on review, are clearly clean and reasonable yet guys get away with all sorts of borderline shit. 49ers are pretty tough against the run....they play some really sound football. Peterson busted one and had a couple other nice carries. He averaged 4.5 yards a carry. Not his usual lofty standards but nothing too exiciting either.
