Not sucks, but doesn't think he has instincts to be anything but a nickel backer as he is a glorified strong safety. He thought either he or Bishop would be cut.

Yep, Bears dont have any WR's....and their defense is old and slow.

Bretsky
09-13-2009, 08:53 PM
ARod missed that throw big time.

You think he's shook up or hurt? He just looks off tonight. He missed on the bomb to driver, was a little wild (albeit out of pocket) on the ball that hit driver in the hands that he dropped, and now that pass. Not a great start so far :-/

I think he's just facing too much pressure. These downfield patterns are taking too long. More quick 3 step drops and get the ball out. Or, hell, why not call a screen play to take advantage of all the pressure they're getting?
He had plenty of time on both deep throws he has missed. He has gotten hit, but not on those

He blew two TD's he was hitting all preseason

We should be whipping the Bears now

our d is the real deal guys. and we got some depth. jolly had one of the best plays i've seem from a big man on the int, chillars hurdle and sack was graet, and all the int's and pressure are really a sight for sore eyes

with that said, theres one giant weak spot on this team. barbre needs to be taken right the hell out of there before he gets rodgers killed and flushes our whole season down the drain. he has no clue what he's doing out there, and theres no excuse for him remaining in the game.

Twitter Greg_A_Bedard: The Packers are going to have to completely change their protections at halftime. Allen Barbre must have help on every passing play.

Twitter Greg_A_Bedard: If you're the Bears, you go back to what you're good at: running the ball. Pretend Kyle Orton is the QB, not Jay Cutler.

I quickly rewatched 1st half.

Barbre blew pass protection 5 times (2 sacks, 2 hurries), held once, got help 3 times, got lucky twice (would be sacks) - in the 1st Q.

Barbre blew 5 pass protections (1 sack, 3 hurries, 1 safety, another bad run block...), held once, got help twice - in the 2nd Q.

Total half - 10 blown assignments (3 sacks, 5 hurries and a safety).
