Sucks that they're going to be sneezing all over our team on Sunday. Better get some flu shots.

Browns will still rumble through Packers OL; even Mangini in pads would get a sack

Dark horse prediction for Browns next head coach...McCarthy the McCoach.

Dark horse prediction for Browns next head coach...McCarthy the McCoach.I know he is good, but I doubt even MM would be able to pull off coaching 2 teams at once.

So, can the Browns reschedule? forfit? Can the Pack refuse to play with a bunch of guys with runny noses? I heard the NFL has loosened the rules regarding calling guys up.

Further trouble for Cleveland...

CLEVELAND -- Police say Cleveland Browns cornerback Eric Wright flipped his car on a wet highway entrance ramp and was taken to a hospital.

Wright was examined at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland after the accident early Friday and then released.

Browns spokesman Neal Gulkis says when Wright reported to a team facility later in the morning, the Browns' doctors sent him for further tests.

Gulkis said he had no information on Wright's status for Sunday's game with Green Bay.

Police did not ticket Wright for the crash. They say he was entering Interstate 490 from Interstate 77 east of downtown Cleveland when his silver Mercedes slid on the slippery pavement and rolled over.

How does he NOT get ticketed?

Poor road conditions and a single car accident.

I guess he could have received a ticket for driving too fast for conditions, but I for one wouldn't want police handing out tickets every time someone runs off the road because they hit a patch of ice or oil-rain slicked road. Ruining your car and ending up in the hospital is bad enough.

Can't they ticket him for driving an expensive foreign car that apparently doesn't handle well?

Will the CDC have to give it's approval to even play this game?

If you're the Browns, wouldn't you be hacking up on Packer players through the first quarter or so, throw them off their games?

All the Packers will be wearing gloves on Sunday!

Sure would. They need a win by any means necessary.

"Personal foul. Number #92 of the defense spit a lugi on #12 of the offense. That's a 15 yard penalty and an automatic first down."

Sportsline is reporting all but one player (Corey Williams!) are back at practice today.

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/story/12410409

Nine of the 10 Cleveland Browns who missed practice the past two days with the flu are back with the team.

Backup defensive end Corey Williams was the only player still at home, and coach Eric Mangini said he didn't anticipate needing the NFL roster exemption put in place for a team besieged by swine flu.

Mangini said there have been no new cases since 12 players missed Wednesday. He expects to have a nearly complete roster for Sunday's game against Green Bay.

Pro Bowl nose tackle Shaun Rogers and linebacker Kamerion Wimbley, who missed Sunday's loss in Pittsburgh with the flu, returned Thursday.

Two of the Browns tested positive for Influenza A, of which H1N1 is a strain. Mangini has not received test results on the other 10 players.
