Maybe we can talk about these somewhere other than the Packers v. Browns thread.

I have to say that watching Cedric Benson run like a man possessed against the Bears is pretty funny.

Running back is a weird position to evaluate year to year. A couple years ago, Cedric Benson looked totally useless, and last year Matt Forte looked like the steal of the draft. Now, Cedric Benson is playing exceptionally physically and successfully and Forte is exceptionally ordinary.

You can say similar things about Grant, to be honest.

what did peterson get today? his numbers are down from last year i bet. it's a passing league even more this year.

14-0 Cincy over Chicago, and they're making it look easy. Chicago has no answer for Cedric Benson.

In large part because the defense appears to fail to understand the basic principle of run defense. The defense wants the number of run defenders to exceed the number of blockers by one, which is usually not a problem because the QB is not usually much of a blocker. The Bengals keep giving the Bears looks with extra offensive linemen (presumably to eventually set up a few plays where they pass out of that set), but the Bears aren't reacting to it and you end up in situations where seven black shirts are trying to block six white shirts.

That and Cedric Benson looks pissed off.

Bears are getting pounded. Cutler sacked. Bengals treating him like a blow up doll today.

Extreme understatement to mention Benson is extremely motivated to stick it to the Bears. Seems possessed out there.

No, 3 TD throws by Palmer. Henry, Ocho and I believe the TE got the last one.

31-0 Bengals. Have scored on all five possessions of the 1st half.

Looks like NE - Tenn, part deux.

This bears game is awesome. Thanks for showing, yet agian chicago, that your a bottom 10 team in this league.

Oh well, go to the back of the bus where you belong. Let the big boys (pack and vikes) show you how to do it right.

I obviously hate the Cowboys and the Falcons are a (far) second choice of mine since I live in Atlanta, but from a potential Wild Card standpoint, who yall want to win this game? I was thinking Dallas because I don't see them in the final picture at all, but I guess it's still pretty early...

Hightower is a liability - a fumble, at least one dropped pass so far.

No chatter about the Skins/Iggles game? Skins seem to be battling while they're getting abused.

Wil Witherspoon is making all Free Agents (and Bretsky and RG) who stand opposed to T2's FA approach proud today. INT and a forced fumble.
