Assuming that GB beats Tampa Bay next week, the games against Dallas and SF are huge. If we win those two games I think we will make the playoffs and we will have a tie-breaker against Dallas and SF if needed.

If we pull off the home sweep I see us at 8-3 with 5 games to go. Tough to beat BAL and PITT but could easily beat CHI, ARI, SEA.

You've got a 3 way race in the NFC East - and the 2nd place team may take the wildcard. You've got to hope the Eagles keep playing well and the Giants continue to disappoint. We get Dallas in a few weeks - and that may be for the wildcard.

We'll have to consider the Falcons and the Niners in the playoff race. Both have more favorable remaining schedules.

Look ahead-
Next week with TB - very winnable
Dallas at home - huge
@ Detroit - W
Ravens at home - both teams will be hungry - gonna be a tough game
@ Chicago - a near must win but 50/50 shot
@ PIT - likely loss
Seattle at home - if playing for playoffs, Packers should be ready - W
@ ARI - you almost hope they have they division and seeding locked up - otherwise it'll be another tough game

2 easy games (TB/DET) - but is any road game 'easy'
Dallas, Chicago and Seattle could be for the wildcard (head-head) - need 2 Ws
2 tough AFC games (BAL/PIT) - need 1 W
Wrap up game - depends on if Packs still in it - or if Cards need it

So I see 6 possible victories remaining - but it's tough. I could also see 4.
8-8 won't cut it and 10-6 may not be good enough this year.

You forgot the SF game.

Both those games are going to be tough to win. SF is playing lights out on defense and kept Manning and the Colts out of the endzone all game until they were bailed out by a HB pass from Addai.
Dallas is getting it going at the right time and have playmakers on both sides of the ball.

Of course we want our team to get it together and start winning the tough games but I'm a bit skeptical at this point....even at home.

Do we get it going or self destruct this month?

If I had to guess I would say that we sneak by SF and get beat handedly by Dallas. Big D still has our number and have more talent in my opinion. They're starting to click and have evidently been menacing on D the past few weeks. DeMarcus Ware might show up Jared Allen's performances

Packers have won their two huge November games.

We need to keep the momentum rolling.

@ Det - Should be a win
Bal - Suggs is out/R Lewis is playing hurt W
@ CHI - Chi is in deep trouble but it is a division game W
@ PIT - Pit lost to KC today so we have a chance but I'm guessing small L
SEA - Big 2 day after Xmas present, blow out W
@ ARI - All depends on home field advantage issues, I'm guessing they have locked 3rd place in NFC and will rest players. 50/50

10-6 or 11-5

the loss to tampa made those games even bigger. we won one we didn't think we would, dallas...that makes up the tampa game, and we're on track to get three in a row. the last wildcard game is a possiblilty.

We could be at ARI two weeks in a row.

If we do would they even fly back to GB?

Wouldn't it be cool if we got another shot at the Queens?

I'm getting ahead of myself.
