Interesting--thanks for posting that. A couple of notes:
1. Winning the North Division may be out of reach for the Packers, but they are very much in the hunt for a wild card spot; the Giants have lot exactly looked like worldbeaters lately.
2. The Houston Texans not only have never made the playoffs, they've never had a winning season (though they have finished at .500). They have the 5 slot now in the AFC--that would be quite a step for them.

It's like a two-edged sword. We want the Packers to win the wild card and make a run for that, but if they don't get it, it sucks because it just gets us out of better draft position.

Wow in the two conference's you could potentially have 3 teams from the same division's the AFC North, and the NFC East. Wonder if that has ever happened before where one division in each conference has sent 3 teams to the playoffs?

And you know how TT loves those high draft picks.

Back when there were three divisions in each conference instead of the four each has now, that wasn't all that unusual.

You don't play sports for draft position!

Amen to that.

G4orce, we are one game over .500, haven't played our 8th game yet, and are right in the thick of a wild card battle. This is no time to start looking forward to April. January is still very much in play. Only 2 teams have beat Green Bay this season.

Thank you, Gun and LEWCA.

It's a little soon to be getting bitter and cynical.

How soon is now?

When you say it's gonna happen "now"
well, when exactly do you mean?
see I've already waited too long
and all my hope is gone

You shut your mouth
How can you say
I go about things the wrong way
I am Human and I need to be loved
Just like everybody else does

Nice job on the sig.

Not for the Favre loving types who want him to "stick it to TT"

Tell that to the 2002 Cavaliers.

I love Favre, but that has no bearing on how I feel about Greenbay. The Packers win every time. I guess I have spent this season admiring the things Favre does. I don't want him to be so good, but it is what it is. The guy is great.
