I liked living in Tampa (until I had a kid). They have Busch Gardens, the proximity to Orlando if you need more theme parks and the tourist beaches and restaurants. They also have Ybor city in case you need to party. I just can't figure out why on earth they have an ice hockey team...

I'll bite. The latter population is easy to understand. But why the "newly wed"? Are the latter selling their condos at cheap prices to the former?

No lines at Raymond James Stadium.
Attendance at Buccaneers games looks impressive compared to Marlins games.

They have a pirate ship that shoots off cannons every time the score and thats pretty sweet.
But I guess they'd have to score for it to be nice... doh!

They were a team we could consistently beat even during lean years before Favre and Reggie came on board.

Sorry, that is a big negative. Clearwater and it's beach suck.
Passagrille, Ft. Desoto, etc. are good beaches.

At least they're not Detroit?
Or Cleveland...Buc's fans can take solace in the fact that even if their team sucks they still live in a much better place than some of these teams.

1) No state income taxes.
2) When Tampa makes a mistake in building too large a stadium they built another one less likely to have black outs of television coverage.
