Defense collapsed amid no adjustments to this blitz heavy scheme that hasn't worked. Offensive line collapsed. Piss poor special teams.

Simple. Very hard win like that.

Disagree. I've listened to McCarthy talk about the OL as if they don't matter, and in his offense, you could put anyone in on the OL and succeed. I think it's McCarthy's philosophy, and Thompson has drafted based off of that.

ARods problems are NOT the OL exlcusively. Look at the third down in the second to the last series. He had the ball like 6 seconds. Chuck it down field if nothing is open. Worst case scenario is a punt-equvialent INT. Instead, he held onto it, got hit, and through it 3-4 yards. Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb.

So a year ago, Rodgers pissed down his leg and could get us a comeback win. Today... pisses down his leg and looks like the 21yr old kid instead of their QB.

Kids a statistician, I WANT A WINNER!

We make every opposing QB look all pro with our shitty defense. We never put pressure, and we don't cover. WTF Dom!

I have no idea what this has to do with Rodgers not being able to lead a team to victory. But yes, our D is bad as well. My point was Rodgers cant get the job done when the chips are down.... ever.

Yep. I've been saying this from the start and everyone thought I was crazy. How many more times does he have to play down to the opposition before we admit he's not elite?

If Aaron is regressing, it's not because of his talent. He's got bad coaching, just as the whole rest of the team does as well. A putrid OL doesn't help his cause either.

Can't blame the D for this one. O was beyond awful in the second half. Rodgers had the ball and a perfect chance to win. Instead, he throws an INT, then makes a lame effort on a tackle.

This guy is the single most overrated player in the NFL.

To quote TT, "steer clear off the girls with the pretty curls. We want football players"

Bedard (I believe) did an article about how it'd cost 18 mil to cut bait with those two. No way is that happening.

contracts mean absolutely dick for coaches and gm's. bad coaches and gm's don't keep their jobs because they have contracts

Not when we're a privately owned team with something like 50 mil in the bank only. It's a recession, too.

Especially with the talk of revenue sharing going down. Less rev for the G&G most likely.

If you saw some of the replays, nothing is ever open. We release 3-4 receivers, we have to leave TE's & RB's in to block, which means they could literally double team every WR we have, leaving nobody open to throw to, and no check down.

I know this isn't directly quoting Partial, shoot me.

Partial, your problem is you place ALL of a QB being good or bad on his wins. So for example. Rodgers sucks because he doesn't get wins. Favre is great because he got wins.

Then when someone says so Kerry Collins was the best QB last year, you say no because it's a team game. Stop contradicting yourself Partial, and stop placing all the blame on Rodgers.

You could be a lot more sensible by saying Rodgers holds on to the ball way to long sometimes. He doesn't throw it up for grabs when he should, and he does throw it up for grabs when he shouldn't. He takes a lot of sacks but the O line and playcalling isn't helping him out at all.

I've never said anything of the sort. When you're a throwing team, it's on the QB. When you're a running team like the Titans, its a very different story. Wins are the not sole measure (never said they were) but they are the most important measurement by far.

I think his whole problem is he isn't as mentally quick as some think he is. He doesn't make the easy throw when it's there. Playcalling isn't helping I agree.

Hard to say in Tampa when everyone is sucking wind with the heat. If pressed,I would say it was weather and not playing time. The offense contributes to this perception because of the number of times they take a sack or penalty early and it kills the drive right away. So everyone remembers the short drives and calculates a TOP problem in their head.

FYI, Tauscher told someone at JSO that he should be fine after a knee sprain.
