Fosco33
11-26-2009, 12:34 PM
Not sure about the call - 1 blocker for 3 defenders and a bubble WR?

At least on the Lee screen/TD- there were multiple blockers.

Throw it to the endzone if you're gonna kick a fg.

b bulldog
11-26-2009, 12:35 PM
good drive, now let the D stop them and give the O good field position and we can go up 17-7

Raji and Matthews playing bigger every week... that sack was unbelievable!

Fosco33
11-26-2009, 01:04 PM
At the half (Pack/Lions):

1st downs (14/8)
3rd down % (66/43)
Yards (256/78)
Punts (0/1)
Turnovers (2/1)
Sacks (2/0)

Pack playing ok. Feels like last week but without the TDs. Better come out and play intense.

Raji, Mathews, Jones, Lang, and Johnson. All 5 are pretty big contributers this year. Lang will be starting next year from the start of camp.

Keys-
1. Get after Stafford/other and ensure strong coverage on Calvin. 3+ sacks and less than 100 yards and a TD for CJ. - 2 sacks; CJ 10y and 1 TD
2. Defense - 2+ turnovers and 7+ points off turnover - Done - 2 and 10
3. Start fast AND finish strong - Didn't start fast - at all - need to prove that in the 2nd half
4. Oline - 2 or less sacks and get RG 20+ for 100+ and a TD - no sacks; RG has 11 carries for 43yards
5. ST - stop screwing up and don't lose the game -not at all. 7 points on a fumble; missed FG (game should be 16-0) besides a bunch of flags.

At the half

Just think how good the Packers could be if we had more than 3 drafted players still on the team from the Sherman years. That should be those 27-32 year old core players that we don't have.

Exactly. Special teams continues to try and lose game for us. Another terrible performance by Slocum's group. I wish they'd just realize that they don't need to make big plays on specials. They just need to not f--- up. Maybe that is too difficult.

Packers declared RB Ahman Green, WR Biren Ealy, CB Josh Bell, S Matt Giordano, T Breno Giacomini, T Allen Barbre, LB Aaron Kampman, and DE Jarius Wynn inactive for Thanksgiving Day.

I know Barbre is listed on the injury report as doubtful, but I wonder if he could play, and is effectively a healthy scratch. This could be the end for him.

Can't be, we don't have a swing T to plug in. I hope no one gets hurt.
