People assumed it was John Facenda, (the voice of NFL Films) since he did so many narrations of NFL games for NFL Films.

I would bet my last dollar that it is NOT Chris Berman who coined the phrase.....I would go with digitaldean's Bill Woodson.

I think this is another case of bad writing, that, and a young writer thinking history begins at his birth.

me too; ESPN is subpar now.

I'm all about the NFL Network pre game; they do some great footballl analysis
