It sounds at first like he has a job all wrapped up, but when you get to Florio's contention that he has done this before (without taking a job), it could be that he is simply being thorough.
Is there anyone on the Packer's staff he might want?

Darren Perry coached under Cowher, but I don't think MM would let him go unless it was for a Asst. H.C. or DC position. I don't think MM would let Capers go.

Yeah, I think Perry is next in line for our DC job if Capers were to retire/take a promotion (here or elsewhere).
He's one of those smart, intense young guys that's being coveted around the league. Can't see us letting him get away.
