Its the end of week 17, the awards will be in before the playoffs. Who wins DMVP. I am watching the Jets game and they mentioned Revis's name once again, its going to be really close but I say you gotta give it to the Vet... Who do you think ?

Woodson or Revis?

Woodson : 74 tackles . 18 pass deflections. 2 sacks . 4 ff. 9 ints. 3 tds

Revis : 54 tackles. 31 pass deflections. 0 sacks. 0 ff . 6 ints. 1 td.

Revis is the best shut-down corner in the game today, but Woodson has done everything for the Packers. Calling Woodson a corner is actually a misnomer, since you never really know where he is going to be lined up.

Woodson all the way. I'm a Packer homer and say he should get it.

you couldn't look at the two and pick anyone but CHUCK.

Need another stat - solo tackles of RBs.

CW's run support does as much to show his value as anything else.

Sharper still have a chance?

woodson, clearly

he plays corner, safety, and even blitzes

it shouldn't even be close IMO

more int's, more td's more sacks, probably more tackles for lose

woodson is having a freakish year that you just don't see too often, maybe from a safety like like troy pal, but not a corner

The defensive player of the year isnt awarded to someone for just one aspect of their game. Elvis Dumervil isnt going to get it even though he leads the league with 17 sacks just as Darrelle Revis wont get it because he is the best cover corner in the league. What Woodson has that the others dont is the best all around game. The fact that Woodson is so dominate in the run (evident from the Mcgahee shoe string tackle) along with being a shut down cover corner puts the award in Woodsons hands.

There you have it from Woodson himself guys, though he must be reading too many of Snake and Ty's posts.

This isn't even a contest. Woodson has created more turnovers...made more big plays all over the field...and his team didn't get into the playoffs because the Colts sat their starters.

on the bottom of the page they have all the people that have the 'voting rights'

A lot are from NY and might be biased, I think this one will be a lot closer than people think.
