Awesome! Good for him.

From 2 year non scholarship walk-on - to 1st round draft pick - to starter in NFL - to Rookie ProBowler.

Maybe he can add SB winner - here's hoping he has to skip the Pro Bowl 8-)

Not to be too much of a Packer homer, but I think it's well deserved. He's been a star for us ever since he hit the field.

I'm not sure he'll ever need to be more pumped up than he is naturally. I'm not sure what would happen.

It would be messy. Things would spontaneously burst...

I'm hoping none of our guys are playing the Pro-Bowl...cause they'll be playing the following week.

Stupid if you ask me. If the best players make it and those players make their teams great, then it stands to reason that the ones you'd like to see there most won't be there.

I think this might be a good idea

A couple decent reasons to change it are

1. Terribly attended by fans and terrible ratings on TV because fans didn't care since it was after meaningful football.

2. Players didn't care to go to Hawaii either and too many would create phantom injuries and weasel out. Some of this, people stated, had to do with location and the long flights...gosh forbid...but reality is most of these guys can go to Hawaii whenever they want. It's on honor once or twice for them but after many don't want to go anymore. We lose the two teams in the Super Bowl (hopefully we see no Packers in the PB) but other than that I think this is a good move.

Wouldn't it make more sense to hold the PB in the same city as the sB? The players would likely be more ready to attend...If they'd publicize the thing as much as How I Met your Mother and whether whatshisname found his future wife, they could fix that ratings thing too.

good idea and I'd be down with that as long as the field was in perfect shape for the SB
