Indeed. Stretching, warm-up running, and maintaining balance in lower-body training during the offseason. Your hams have to counter the strength of your quads, and these are guys who can squat hundreds of pounds.

It's one of those things that happen every pre-season, especially as players age, and their bodies can't just get fired into the mix.

According to my dad...all you need to do is rub some dirt on it and walk it off. If you don't, you are a pussy.
