Surprised its getting this much attention...

-Today on first take ESPN's Skip Bayless was so mad at the last two plays (the refs).

I'm surprised the media is out in full force about it, usually they don't mention a thing about any bad calls

It is the playoffs. And it was the highest scoring game in playoff history...

When it happens in the regular season, unless on the national stage... it wouldn't be noticed.

Difference was: Playoffs, national stage, highest scoring game, most entertaining game of the weekend, great story in a 21 point come back, records being tied and and broke on both sides of the ball. emotional missed FG to force OT.

And then in OT, playoffs, everything is going to be watched carefully. Because, at this point, the refs can really make or break a game based on calls and missed calls. The helmet to helmet on the play before... whats the excuse on missing that? It wasn't the back refs job to watch for it? It's been called on many palyers all season.

Facemask, not called because it's not your job? Who's job is it then?

It will be a major point of emphasis in this offseason for refs to follow the rules and regulations. THis is a playoff game. We are suppose to have the best refs in the league, and they blew it on 2 HUGE no calls that could of changed the outcome of the game.

I'm ticked that the refs could throw the flag at Jenkins brush into Warner, but can't miss a direct freakin' helmet to helmet shot on A-Rod.

We got lucky that Rackers did his best Max Zendajas imitation at the end of regulation.

We had a rotten defensive effort and we paid the price. That being said, if we wouldn't have turned the ball over for 14 quick points the outcome would be much different.

Glad some in the press actually paid attention to us. I can do without Dilfer's expertise on ESPN, though. Heard him on Rome today and he said the Packers' D was smoke and mirrors all season.

Well if that's the case, how did they kick the crap out of Romo and the Cowboys? But I digress.

The Packers put themselves in the position where the referees can influence the game. Never should been near that in the first place.
