Green Bay Press Gazette - John Schneider, a Packers director of football operations the last two years, said after his introductory press conference as the Seahawks' new general manager that he won't make any changes to the scouting or personnel staff.

Schneider has worked with several members of Seattle's scouting staff, including when he was with the Seahawks in 2000.

"Why would you change?” Schneider said after the news conference. “Look who’s already here. These are some great people who do a great job.”

If Schneider brings in any scouts from outside the organization, it probably wouldn't happen until after the NFL draft in late April.

That's pretty cool, as Schneider was one of the best long-term Packer guys for awhile. To let us draft and get our guys gives him props.

We lost a good guy here. This was one of TT's best guys....at least he has some honor/class.

Let's hope for another GREAT draft class before Schneider rapes our pro-personnel staff. He's been with for a LONG time.

I don't think there's really going to be a bunch of poaching. He already knows and has worked with most of the existing staff in Seattle. Many of them also worked for the Pack. There's a lot of connections among the Seattle and Packers offices. I thing the poaching has already been completed. The 2 teams seem to just swap a few guys for job vacancies every now and again.

A friendly relationship is a positive thing. Recall the Ahman Green deal.

Do you think they swap wives, too?

Only on the second Tuesday of the month, but SHHHH! You're not supposed to say anything.

I think there is enough trust where they can work out a trade.

Trading down in a later round 15 spots to where the Seahawks might want to trade up for a player.

Seattle could use a receiver.

Ted kept all the prior Packer scouts when he took over. You have to be a real jerk like the idiot who took over the Chiefs to clean out these guys.

Why hate a guy just because you didn'thire him?
