1. Brian Bulaga OT Iowa
Many feel he won't be available here, but his thyroid condition might be enough for some team to take Campbell over him. Has the footwork to play LT, and the frame to get bigger.

2. Devin McCourty CB Rutgers
Explosive player who is outstanding in zone coverage. Also a good kick returner/special teams player.

3. Larry Asante S Nebraska
Tough, aggressive player who will eventually, if not immediately be an upgrade over Bigby.

4. Montario Hardesty RB Tennessee
Tough, cutback runner who can spell Ryan Grant and would be an upgrade over Brandon Jackson.

5. Andre Roberts WR Citadel
Small-school player who could have an immediate impact as a kick returner.

6a. Cameron Sheffield DE/OLB Troy
Athletic player who has the size to start at LOLB eventually.

6b. Corey Peters DT Kentucky (Compensatory Pick)
Could be a part of the DE rotation, especially if Johnny Jolly has to miss some time.

Kurt Coleman S Ohio State
Smallish Safety who does well in zone coverage, and should be a good special teams player.

All your picks sound good to me, though I think there will be more attention paid to pass rush early (LOLB). While there are other positions with less depth, I think the defense suffered more from a lack of pass rush than coverage against good QBs. Say 60/40.

And Larry Asante sounds very versatile if he can sitch from Center to Safety.

3. Larry Asante C Nebraska
Tough, aggressive player who will eventually, if not immediately be an upgrade over Bigby.

as for bulaga, i'm pretty convinced that no one has a clue how the 2-6 tackles fall

i see 20+ mocks a day and other then okung being #1 they all have the other 5 going at different times

Oops. Fixed. He's versatile, but not that versatile.

I like Hardesty as a prospect, but I don't know how much of an upgrade over Jackson he would be in terms of "the thing that actually gets Jackson on the field". Brandon Jackson is a very good third down back, because his blitz pickups are very, very good and he's a decent receiving threat.

Hardesty would invariably be an upgrade over Wynn/Lumpkin/Green though.

Is "thyroid condition" what they're calling steroid use these days?

Not necessarily, but thyroid condition could mean he'd have difficulty putting on the weight they said his frame could hold.

It does seem to be a bit of a mystery as to what exactly was wrong with Bulaga. I've looked at a bunch of different sites and can't find any description other than the two words "thyroid condition".

If true, he'd go top ten.

The Kentucky dt is a stud and could be too good to pass-up.

Nice breakdown -- anyone of those picks would be nice additions.
