I say 40 receptions, 525 yards, 4 TDs. Assuming he doesn't sustain another injury, which is very possible.

Seems reasonable. This kind of thinking could lead to Walker being a mid-round steal in fantasy football drafts, if he returns to form.

65 receptions, 931 yards, 9 tds

Well, since denver is a running team and since plummer is their QB, I say 55 rec 700 yards 6tds

Yes, Denver has been a running team since Shanahan took over. But, their go-to reciever has put up some decent numbers over the years.

Rod Smith

'97 - 1180 yds 12 TD
'98 - 1222 6
'00 - 1602 8
'01 - 1343 11
'04 - 1144 7

If Walker is healthy ( and that's the real question ), it's reasonable to think he'll go for 1300 yds and 10 TD's.

Coming off an injury, and with Rod Smith still around, I doubt he gets that. I think he'll go for about 70 receptions, 1000 yards, and 8-10 TDs.

What MD said, only less. Running team, 2nd WR, 600 yards max. He'll be lucky to get 70 catches....

'cept, he's a whiny PUNK and will likely hold out by game 8....

All signs so far point to him being healthy and although it usually takes two years to fully recover from ACL injuries, I have to figure he'll still put up decent numbers with Rod Smith opposite him.

I say around 5 receptions, 900yds and 7 TD's.

IMHO it's all about the injury. If he's close to the physical form of '04, Shanaham will take advantage. Plus, that division has some suspect secondaries.

Holy crap. That is 180 yards and 1.4 touchdowns per reception. I'm guessing that would be the highest in NFL history.

I think he'll be Denver's 1st option, with the ageless wonder Rod Smith as the second

Best he'll do.

60 receptions for about 900 yards and 8 TD's would be a very solid season for Javon Walker, considering he's coming off serious knee surgery.

55 rec 690 yds.

I think his ypc will go down with his lost explosiveness this year. I'm starting to agree with Bretsky that this injury might take more than one year to heal.

I gotta pipe in on this one:

Javon Walker for the season - I'm saying Zero receptions, Zero yards and Zero TD's as he will aggrivate the injury, or suffer a new one, during camp or pre-season and will be lost for the year.

I agree that he will become Denver's #1 option, with Smith moved to 2nd and Lelie shipped.

70 recs, 1200 yds, 11 TDs
Pro Bowl AFC receiver

Don't be bitter, fair Packer fans. He wanted out and we had to let him. I don't see that TT had any other choice. Barring injury, I think he should have a very successful year in Donkeyland.

600yds, 50 rec, 5TDs.

Of course thats if he last the season. Dont recall Shanahan throwning the ball much inside the 20 other then to the TE so the TDs could be less.

That would be some sweet karma and his ass would be out of football for good.

My guess is that he'll have 10 catches because he'll be injured again.

Ouch, keystrokes always do me in. The "5" was supposed to be 65 receptions although Walker did have a pretty high yards per catch and thus 180yds per reception likely isn't out of the question
