Smith Anticipates Tice

We have our first NFL coach/GM of the day at the podium. Bears head coach Lovie Smith is currently addressing the media. In his early comments, Smith said that adding Mike Tice as an offensive line coach will bring “toughness” and “expertise” to the unit.

Tice could probably also get the Bears' players reduced ticket prices on the sunset harbor dinner cruises in Lake Michigan. :)

yeah he "knows a guy" :) WAIT!!! He totally can take the team to the Super Bowl...of course they will be HIS scalped tickets ;) yeah lame but had to be said.

The Vikings had damn good OL's under Tice. Probably not the right guy as a HC, just not a straight enough arrow, but my impression was that he was a good OL coach. Their OL has slowly gotten worse since left from my view point.

That is not because of Tice that is because of talent.

tice was a damn good o-line coach, he just blew when he had control over the whole team

I agree that Tice is a good OL coach. He knows his stuff there. As a HC, he was a major flop.
