At least according to Kevin Seifert of ESPN the Packers signed him.

Yes WR Charles Dillon!!!

Ted Thompson can sure find a bargain!

Charles Dillon was in the Colts training camp and then played for Spokane in AFL2.

The Packers can always use another practice squad WR.

Stop complaining about Ted Thompson not doing anything THIS offseason!

Tramon Williams and Cullen Jenkins were UDFA's, so you never know.

Everyone mocks these players until the JS writes one of those touching fluff pieces on what they've overcome and who they are. Since he doesn't have a wacky name though, he'll have to have wacky hair to really get everyone here excited.

At least he always looks... happy?

Could this the Packers kick returner?

He doesn't have to catch them off the screen in the NFL.

I'm sure he will just turn out to be a practice squad player, but any type of special teams help would be a god send. Buddy was deff pumped up and ready to hit.

Kinda looks like s. smith from NYG (build wise) how big is this man?

Listen at about 1 minute. He says he hates playing in cold weather. Well if he wants to play in the NFL he better get over it.

Just tell him that if he runs fast enough, he'll warm up :)

Just watching this video, it looks like he has a lot more upside than Brett Swain. Swain can't stop on a dime like that.

He looks like he could be a whiz on coverage units and also as a returner. I read elsewhere that he was probably the best KR on their team but because he was the "rookie" and they had two guys ahead of him with 2-3 years experience, they weren't just going to give him return duties.

He looks like he loves to play football, catches everything with his hands and can make guys miss. Looks like a poor-mans Greg Jennings with a little more toughness.

Who knows... he ran a 4.55 I think his senior year so he matches right up with our fast (but not blazing) wide receivers group.

Whether it's this guy, a mid-round draft pick or someone else, I just can't see Swain on the team. He doesn't bring enough... I'm sure we have someone else that can keep their assignment during a fake punt (his reputation is a bit inflated by his stop on 4th down).

Who knows... hopefully Ted does.

WHAT?! You can't cut Bob Swain! He's the glue on this team! And he's probably friends with someone else important on the team who'll obviously be terribly sad if he's not there!

I've stopped watching highlight film. Best I ever saw was Garrett Wolfe's...and now he's an occasional player for the Bears. And Jordy Nelson looked like the next Donald Driver....but that's not exactly happening. He's more in the Robert Ferguson category so far.

No more highlight films for me. Unless Drew Barrymore posts one of herself.

I have a good informant who has assured me that Swain is Bigby's best friend and roommate. We've got to keep him around for team consistency! Where will Bigby get the motiviation for those killer hits and pro bowl seasons if we take his homey away?

Sorry but Jordy Nelson has never looked like Donald Driver.

I could see it as a possible special teams move. Afterall, the NFL career was ended due to injury it appears, and he showed in Arena he is back.

We'll just have to wait and see. I wouldn't mind finding someone else for kick return. Blackmon is good, but he is totally unreliable to be healthy.

Joemailman

When healthy, he's pretty fast. The 40 time he ran in 2008 (4.46) has been beat by only 6 WR's in this year's combine. He's also about 16 pounds bigger now than he was at his Pro Day in 2008.

People get down on Nelson because he has stunk it up in return duty. He's actually been pretty reliable as a WR. He's no Donald Driver, at least not yet, but he's FAR better than Fraud ever was as a pass catcher.

Bretsky you are a GOD. Thank you. And on top of that, you had to like that clip yourself....Drew's cool with girls 'n girls, ya know?

Personally, the only reason I am okay with that whole girls being with girls thing is because it's a civil liberties issue. Really. That's the only reason.

No, really.
