We already know Detroit will play New England. Chicago’s official Twitter feed hinted last week that the Bears could play at Dallas. And I was told that initial versions of the schedule had an NFC North team playing at the New York Jets on Thanksgiving night. The Vikings and Packers are the two division teams scheduled to play at the Jets this season.

my first thought is that the league wants a prime time Favre game

Beat writers in Minnesota are saying it will be Jets vs. Vikings.

I have read that elsewhere. Visiting teams rarely get to double-dip Thanksgiving games. Some teams view it as a mini bye week with 10 days before the next game.

I don't mind seeing the Packers on Thanksgiving. If they can get a win, then it's a ten day bye.

But the Queens and Jets would be the Favre angle. And the NFL is gonna milk that puppy.

Milk that cow? Squeeze that puppy?

Sorry. Mixing my metaphors there.
