The Packers will open the exhibition season at home with the Browns in the Midwest Shrine Game the weekend of Aug. 12-15. It is the first of four exhibition games that were announced Wednesday as part of the NFL's league-wide pre-season schedule.

The Browns game is for Gold Package (Milwaukee) season ticket holders.

The lone nationally televised game the Packers will play is against Indianapolis on Thursday, Aug. 26, against the Indianapolis Colts in the Bishop's Charities Game at Lambeau Field.

In Week 2, the Packers play at Seattle (Aug. 19-23) and in Week 4 play at Kansas City (Sept. 2-3). This marks the first time since 2001 the Packers have played someone other than Tennessee in their final exhibition game.

Exact dates and times will be announced later.

Finally a chance to win the last preseason game.

Does EVERY preseason game now have a 'name'? Are they trying to make it seem like bowl games or something so people are interested in them?

The Midwest Shrine Game? The Bishop's Charities Game? Is the game at Seattle called 'The mistake by the Lake' game?

The Packers have named their pre-season games for 30+ years that I know of.

Having the Colts for the third game is a nice preseason test...for both teams.
