Seems this guy is in trouble too. A Boston group wants him to retire... Doesn't that violate some federal law against age discrimination or something?

What's this world coming to?

Ronald McDonald has taken his fair share of criticism over the years, but now a Boston-based activist group wants to force him into retirement.

I thought Ronnie retired a long time ago. He's running hospital support houses. It's a good gig. They should let him be.

I don't know why I eat there. The ad campaigns have been distinctively creepy for years. The King thing is just plain disturbing and unappetizing. Normally I punish the responsible parties by refusing to buy the product. (I haven't had a Snickers bar since the "Kissing Mechanics" debacle a few Super Bowls back. And I loved Snickers bars.)

More bothersome to me is that the employees seem to be left behind after McDonalds and Taco Bell have the pick of the fast food employee crop. In my town they look like Gary Larson characters sprung to life. I don't trust them alone with the food.

Doesn't matter. I go there at least once a month because a Whopper is bliss. The meat grinds with a gnarly char, the tomatoes and onions swim in the ketchupy mayo. It has to be one very, very delicious burger to overcome the natural aversions and fears that are thrown in my way by Burger King the corporation.

Burger King grills their burgers, which makes their food gourmet by my standards.

I think the BK King has all the warning signs of a sociopath. Sure he's quick with the smile, but he's oddly distant.

As my teenage son would say, "I know...right?"

swede, its good to see i'm not the only one that boycotts things because of their horrible ads

the BK ads are just bad, i don't know anyone that doesn't think the king is very creepy. i mean he has to scare the shit out of kids, right?

this is one of those things where you say to yourself, "why the hell did they do that"?. then after they continue to do it you start to question the sanity of the whole organization

Harlan, you realize of course that you have the same warning signs.

I'll take that as a compliment, the glass is half full.

"Research has shown that the sociopath is usually a person with an abundance of charm and wit. He or she may appear friendly and considerate, but these attributes are usually superficial. They are used as a way of blinding the other person to the personal agenda behind the sociopath’s behaviour."

Your own family or friend could be a sociopath. Below are some basic symptoms or Sociopathic Tendencies as we call it:

A sociopath does everything to make people feel sorry for him. He makes people pity him and then use them.

A sociopath often make people around him feel afraid or get worried by his actions or word.

A sociopath is the perfect actor and liar! He masters lying art.

A sociopath is easily bored and needs constant new things and simulations.

A sociopath will always blame someone else for his own fault. In his head he is never wrong!

A sociopath often make people feel guilty and they feel hapiness with it.

A sociopath is a very intelligent and creative person.

A sociopath does not talk much and even if he talks much he is lying most of the time to divert your attention

A sociopath often do things to make you feel like you owe him

Do you know some famous sociopath? Here are Bill Gates, Saddam Hussein, Hitler… and many others. However sociopaths are everywhere. YOU can be a sociopath. Your own friend could be a sociopath. There is another higher level of sociopath where the person feels like he is always superior. He feels that everyone are just minor level creatures while he is some more important one.

This is quite rare but is a result following shock in a sociopath! What I wanna say here is NEVER tell a sociopath that he is a sociopath! Your friend could be one and you will notice it using the above sociopathic tendencies list but never tell him.
