JS is doing some nice features on potential first round picks so I thought it might warrant a thread for those wanting to look at write ups on picks.

JASON PIERRE PAUL

Hopefully this guy is gone by the time we pick cause I'm not sure he fits in our scheme

A lot of people think he's a mauler...starting OG from day one. Most think he'll be gone by 23. If we'd pick him we'd have to be pretty dang sure he's better than the guys we have at OG now. Gut tells me TT probably does not go OG in round one but he might be tough to pass on

JERRY HUGHES

Meet a guy who IMO would be a soid Packer. A guy who can be a dominant pass rusher opposity Clay Matthews. A guy with an endless motor and a guy who loves the game. Gives a good interview...highly motivated guy.

Most project he goes in the 25-35 range. I really like Hughes, Kindle, and Graham for our first round pick. If Kindle and Graham are gone.......pretty ideal situation for TT to trade down, pick up a pick, and nab Hughes

We could really use another player to excel in pass rush to help take this D to new levels.

A COUPLE BLURPS

Came to TCU as a running back, but switched to end and played as a true freshman. By his junior year, he was a pass-rushing force for the Horned Frogs

Hughes and Matthews would be a really great tandem rushing the passer. I'd be elated to see him end up in green and gold because the way to really make the 3-4 defense dominating is if you have two really good OLBs.

if TT decides to go OLB with the first pick then anyone of those 3 (graham, kindle, hughes) would be great pickups IMO

to me those are 3 equal players, i don't see one standing out from the others

unfortunately this is starting to feel like the harrell draft. there's at least 2 dozen guys i would like us to draft. so you know we'll pick some ass-hat

Agree; I like all three in Green n Gold and I'd be happy if TT selected any of them with pick 23. So say hello to the fifth or sixth best OT

Out of all the possible OLB, Pierre-Paul is one I don't like. I don't know why but something about him just doesn't feel right.

Interesting article on a WI guy I'd actually never heard of

SOLID SOLID CB who will be there

I'm not too sure about the CB from Rutgers. I would rather have a better cb that can't return kicks than have a mediocre cb that can return for us.

I like Donovan Warren CB from Michigan. He was on a bad defense ,but he still stood out. Only thing is that doesn't our version of 3-4 require cbs that are good at tackling and run support? If that's the case then Patrick Robinson would be a great fit for us.

There are so many different ways we can go this draft because of the talent and our needs. As long as we get a good pass rusher and corner I'll be satisfied.

Wilson is the guy I want if Graham and Kindle are gone. It's a toss-up between Wilson and Hughes.
