I've shamelessly stolen this list from another site, but I haven't seen it posted anywhere and I thought some of you might want to see who we wont be drafting.
Terrence Austin, wide receiver, UCLA.
Danny Batten, defensive end, South Dakota State.
Duane Brooks, wide receiver, Stephen F. Austin.
Duke Calhoun, wide receiver, Memphis.
Jorrick Calvin, cornerback, Troy.
Jonathan Crompton, quarterback, Tennessee.
Alex Henderson, running back, Northern Arizona.
Mike Iupati, offensive guard, Idaho.
Ryan Mathews, running back, Fresno State.
Nick McDonald, offensive lineman, Grand Valley State.
Jerome Murphy, cornerback, South Florida.
Matt Nichols, quarterback, Eastern Washington.
Antonio Robinson, wide receiver, Nicholls State.
Patrick Robinson, cornerback, Florida State.
O'Brien Schofield, defensive end, Wisconsin.
Mikell Simpson, running back, Virginia.
Vuna Tuihalamaka, linebacker, Arizona.
Then again, one could speculate maybe these players were brought in for medical evaluations and they could be potential picks.
What say you PackerRats?

Way to steal my secret.
O'Brien Schofield needs to be a Packer
he'd be nice, but he'll spend his whole rookie year on the IR
and where do you draft a guy that's going to miss a whole year?
i've seen some people have him as high as a 2nd, even with the injury

This fuggin' guy:
Vuna Tuihalamaka, linebacker, Arizona.
Deserves a shot in he NFL based on "last name pronunciation difficulty" alone.

I can't decide what I would call this guy. It's a toss-up between the shorter "Tuna" or the more satirical "Hakalugi".

Given we draft in the latter half of each round, I'd think that a late 4th rounder might be real possibility that if Schofield is still on the board that they take and stash him. One year to continue to rehab and learn the system and see the speed of the NFL might not be that much lost.
Then again he is a Badger, short of Tausher falling into our laps in the 7th round, when was the last time we took one in the draft?

What's Ted's track record regarding players he drafts compared to those he has in? How much of it is a smokescreen?

Good question. I know they had T.J. Lang in for a visit last year. Don't know if they normally bring the high profile guys in.

Small bio included for each player listed
Silverstein says that it's usually later round guys and rarely the big names. More secrecy.
I've noticed over the years, it's smaller school guys, and sometimes guys that weren't invited to the combine. I'm thinking it's usually guys like Mike Hawkins or last year it was the #1 high school recruit who went through about 5 schools (Florida/Florida St. etc) and was maybe going to be an un-drafted free agent. I might be the only one who remembers this, but he's the guy who was talking about steak and lobster on recruiting trips etc. for a article or blog he was writing for his local paper. Basically pissed it all away.
For a while it seemed like it was a done deal, then it didn't happen.

I wonder if we had Ryan Matthews for a serious look or to see if some team would trade picks with us in order to get him.

San Diego is a team supposedly interested in Matthews. Packers 1st (23) and 5th (154) for Chargers 1st (28) and 3rd (91) comes out about even on the draft trade chart.

That would excite me tremendously.
