What do you think TT does with pick #23

Trade Up
Trade Down
Stay Put

There is definitely a year, with the depth out there, I'd like to see TT trade down but with the exception of AJ Hawk TT normally does not grant my wish

I think the draft will heat up tradetalkwise near the twenties. But deals will not get worked out and almost everybody stays put, including us.

Depends on the situation. We're only a couple of pieces away from having a great foundation for years to come. A lot of teams will be looking to trade back and take advantage of this deep draft. If a play-maker safety, OLB, or OT(I'd love Bulaga) is available I wouldn't be suprised at all to see TT trade up.

When he has built the depth we have as a team you can afford to trade up eventually. It's easy to see the obvious holes on our depth chart, but we have a lot more depth than the average NFL franchise.

i honestly don't have any clue what TT is gonna do tomorrow or who he's looking at

he could very well do any of those three

after the mathews trade up last year there isn't anything that TT can do anymore to surprise me

If 1 of 2 people are available at pick 10, I see the packers trying to trade up.

Assuming those two guys are gone, they most likely stay put. The draft appears really deep this year, but again, maybe by "really deep" it's "really average" since there isn't a lot of talent different from pick 9 to pick 25

i don't see anybody in this draft including suh, mccoy and berry that are worth giving up our first 4 picks for. and thats what it would take to move into the top 10

After a long, drawn out discussion, TT takes the BPA at # 23.

Did you mean a long drawn out discussion here or in the offices at Lambeau?

I really hope we trade down with new england and grab 2 of there second rounders, that way we can address OT or OL , DE or OLB and Seconary in the second round.

i think New England may want Reciever and LB and what better fit they get the 22 and 23rd pick give up two second rounders, still leaving them with 1 2nd.

We get 2 2nd's from them and our own. We should get decent value and pick up 3 players we covet.

That would mean the Packers first pick would be #44. I don't think TT trades down that far. When he traded down out of the 1st round in 2008, he only traded down 7 spots. If he trades down, I think will be a few spots to late in the 1st round.

I agree with Joe - if TT trades down, my guess would be that it'd only be a few spots, maybe down to 28 or so. Try to pick up an extra third.

But my feeling is that he's going to sit tight with that #23 and pick someone when it's his turn. I'm warming to the idea of Jerry Hughes. Seems like a TT guy, but I wish I knew his cone drill time! That would seal the deal!

Man......who freaking knows? So much can happen especially now that the Pittsburgh Ripper will probably get traded. I'll say he trades down a few spots and gets his guy plus another pick.

Steelers want a top 10 pick for Ben. There's no chance he gets traded unless Raiders are dumb enough to give up #8...okay, I guess there's a chance.

Ted is unpredictable. Rumors have it, he's trying to trade up.

Just off the cuff, I'm going to say sit tight and draft Jerry Hughes.

I say they trade down into the second round when the pick before us, Ted's coveted player gets drafted.

That would be Brandon Graham. He's a perfect fit for New England.

Definately here. I think they have a value chart and stick to it on picks. Thei discussion here could temporarily slow down the forums server.

Atlanta sportstalk latest fad is that Brandon Graham is the guy for the Falcons... I really hope they go JPP since they play a 4-3 and he projects better there, but local brass (Blank and Demitrov) seem to be impressionable and cater to the media/fan cries. If not, I don't think NE would let another Clay Matthews-type get away to us like some of ya said.

According to my fearless 1st round mock in the other thread, the top 10 guys available when the Packers pick will be:

Jerry Hughes
Taylor Mays
Kyle Wilson
Sean Weatherspoon
Jared Odrick
Everson Griffin
Sergio Kindle
Patrick Robinson
Mike Iupati
Daryl Washington

Any thoughts?

Saw an interview with Hughes after he was chosen. His favorite food? Coney dogs.
