Makes sense. To my recollection, he wasn't horrible in spot duty as a reserve safety, though he struggled for a bit as a starter before we moved Woodson back there instead. He should at the very least provide some quality competiton for Derrick Martin and Atari Bigby, and with any luck take Jarrett Bush's roster spot when MM makes his final cutdown to 53.
