Does anyone know where Jay Glazer gained the reputation as a MMA training guru? Wikipedia drew a blank. Seems to know his stuff.

Appears he's partnered with Randy Couture to start up a training school that's gained a huge reputation among NFL players, Ryan Grant among them who's the first RB and first Packer (Clay Mathews on next weeks episode kicking ass) Seems a lot of Packers are trying new training styles between boxing and MMA stuff.

Good for Ryan. I really like the concentration on the hips, as it really sound like his range of motion with one in particular was really poor. If he has increased range, that will allows for more dynamic cuts and spins ont he field, and of course he is increasing his power through all of this, giving him a better ability to break tackles.

As was said, MMA training is no joke. NFL training is no joke, and he does both.

Very impressed to see grant trying something different to make himself better. Excited to see if this can translate to on the field production.
