My wife just gave birth to our first child a 6 lb 4 oz healthy boy named Jonah. I can't begin to say how happy I am even if I am sleeping on a chair in the hospital. 8 9 10 u can't get a better birthday than that!

Congratulations, Brando. Fight for your right to raise him well. There is a lot of competition for the formation of your child's character. I know you'll be a good dad and reserve that job for you and your wife. Best of luck and enjoy the ride.

Enjoy. It's a blink of the eye before they are asking for car keys and looking at colleges...

Congrats Brando!

Cherish the years you have with him. The time flies by WAY too fast.

Awesomeness! Congratulations! They tell you life will never be the same, but I'm sure you've figured out by now that what they really mean is, it just got better. Enjoy your little one.

You make it sound like there is a possibility of sleep. You shouldn't give him false hope :D

Thanks everyone. He is doing good and is so cute. If I was smart enough to post a picture on here, I would. Everyone's right about sleep...it's impossible to get any...but it's worth it! He'll be 2 weeks old on Monday and it seems like he's changed so much already. I'm pretty much a pro at changing diapers now. Two weeks ago...I wouldn't have been able to tell you where to start...lol.

Our son is potting training and only wears pull-ups at night. Man I am glad the diaper changing days are done. Only a couple of more years and I won't have to wipe his butt.

 You're getting close, buddy. My son is having a hard time adjusting to his formula...his doctor's going to give him a couple more days before she changes it. We've had to give him 2 suppositories *sp?* so far, and we've had two major explosions as well. Makes me dream of the potty training days ahead.
