And you can guarantee there will be a couple of "WTF?" type moves.. :D
That sounds like it should have its own thread. The "Ted's WTF Prediction Thread".
You asked for it, here it is!
I'll start:
Just 2 running backs, Grant and Jackson (the "generals")
But, 3 FBs again, with Kuhn subbing as a RB when needed.
4 TEs. (Crabtree to PS)
This will "save" a spot for Starks, and by weeks 7, 8 or 9 Hall will again be injured so they can move him out for Starks, if need be.

Mentioned this many months ago since I assumed Bishop would step-up and previously receiving nothing for Kampman.
Given the lack of depth at ilb trading Hawk is not prudent.

Underwood to IR.
I discussed this in my thread about the "25" for defense. They moved Lee to IR last year even though no one believed his injury was season-ending. Underwood has a shoulder issue that they are saying little about. Protect him for a year to develop, and to be indicted or absolved; convicted or acquitted; etc.

"the generals"
 That could stick. U.S. and Stonewall
I agree with the prediction of 2 rb's too.
I have no idea what will happen at TE. I'd like to see Lee moved, but I'll be surprised to see it happen. Quarless is the one who McCarthy speaks the least highly of at this point, but I think he'd get snatched up off the PS and he could develop into a very good one. Crabtree has been seeing time recently on first team special teams, so it seems like their liking him for his abilities there.

Moving Lee would be risky for this season. If Finley goes out for a few games, having just Havner. Quarless and Crabtree would significantly chnage the offense. But then again, with their 4 WRs, maybe it wouldn't be that significant. If you could deal him for a competent backup CB, it might be worth the risk.

While plausible, I don't see that happening unless he's really hurting. They're too thin at DB right now.

Well, how good do people think Havner is at tight end?
What does Lee offer that Havner does not? Could Lee and Spitz be traded? Could you get a reasonable NFL backup corner for Lee or Spitz and a 4th round pick?

I don't see this either. The days of one back shouldering the entire load are over. Grant couldn't handle that anyhow.

Kuhn is great at the goal line, but I don't see him carrying the ball 5-10 times a game should something happen to Grant/Jackson.

I'm guessing that if Grant (who has never missed a game) and Jackson both got injured in the same game, Kuhn would be up to carrying the ball 5-10 times. I'd also guess that we'd throw the ball almost every down. Then, after the game we'd scour the waiver wire. Lumpkin vs. Johnson all depends on how the Packers project these guys a year or two down the road. I could see them keeping Lumpkin, but not if they think Johnson is going to eventually be one of the best FBs in the league. I could also see them getting another team's reject as the third RB. I like Lumpkin as a runner. I don't like his injury history so much.

Why not? He had 5 carries last night and was a prolific runner in college. Set all kinds of rushing records at Shippensburg, with close to 1,000 carries for close to 5,000 yards. He was a big running back that was converted to FB in the NFL, not a former linebacker or TE as many others are.

I guess it's just because I haven't seen him do it. 5 times maybe, but not sure as the primary ball carrier. He's primarily a between the tackles type guy. I don't recall seeing any east/west type stuff from him.

Earnest Graham did it in Tampa a couple of years ago, he's their starting FB now. Brad Hoover did it in Carolina 3 years ago, still a FB for them, I believe.
It's not that uncommon in a case of injury.
The question that Ted needs to answer is, is John Kuhn more valuable than Lumpkin? I think that answer is clearly YES.
