All is well ... Another week and our kicker is not a problem - i'm really glad we stuck with Crosby for another year... Look at the problems in the league already this year - Dallas's kicker is choking big time and the guy they gave up on... Nick Folk... Doing pretty damn well for the Jets...

I never questioned his leg power... His accuracy seems to be getting better (knock on wood)...

How's the aussie doing for the Bucs? Masthay apparently didn't punt too well Sunday.

Masthay punted okay, not great. Averaged 40.1 (NFL.com had it wrong at 33.7). Had a wobbly 37 yarder that was fair caught, a 45 yarder with a 1 yard return, and a 39 yard punt that was almost downed before going into the end zone.

Bryan is averaging 41.8 yds/punt (38.8 net) in 12 punts with 3 inside the 20.

Masthay is averaging 41.0 yds/punt (36.1 net) in 7 punts with 1 inside the 20.

Doesn't it make a difference where they're punting from? If they're near the opponent's end zone yet still out of FG range, they don't want long, booming punts.

I'm wondering if Bryan got hurt. On his third punt, there was a longer return, and Bryan is listed as having made the tackle. They punted three more time after that, all by their FG kicker, not Bryan.

One would think so. Sounds like the quality of the punts was not the issue. Thus, injury.
