Wow, I remember being in awe of him as a young kid. Had a few of his trading cards that I would not trade. I didnt actually know that he was still alive.

We were just talking about him yesterday. He was the oldest to ever play in a game. Starting QB until 43 and a kicker until 48.

Even though he played for them....

Blanda was the epitome of the "grizzled veteran". He looked old before he was old.

Pretty amazing what he did at that age with the Raiders.

LEGEND! saw him play a lot on tv back in the day. not trying to be funny but i thought he was already dead. rip george blanda.
