That's what I was thinking (no pun intended). Found this at NFL.com when I was researching the Cedric Benson injury. No word yet on the extent of Benson's injury.

What does the Benson injury seem like to you - gut feeling?

Don't have much info to go on ... but I'll take a stab anyhoo. I think it might be a collarbone injury.

Wouldn't be good for Benson. Or Da Bears. But I can think of a certain team in the NFC North that isn't shedding too many tears.

I can't find anything more on Benson at this time.

Watch ESPN and The Chicago Tribune.

I think Benson will be out for the first 8 weeks of the season.

Ben Steele was actually on a team?

I guess I shouldn't be too surprised..I'm sure Sherman lobbied for them to sign him..

I'm sure Grossman will appreciate having some company in rehab.

After the injury Mike Sherman was found in the equipment room, sobbing, and shoving Snickers bars into his mouth.

Too bad, but regardless of all the passes that rebounded of his mighty hands, Steele made his mark in Packer's lore with the one time his hands didnt let him down.

He couldn't have picked a better time. :D

Thanks for the MEMORY man!
