I've dreaded this all week but I heard the season ain't over...yet.

Fact: The Packers forced the Skins to punt on 7-of-8 possessions prior to Matthews' absence. Washington went on a 13-0 run to win the game afterwards.
Clay is very doubtful to play. Finley is out, DD is iffy & GJ is hiding from AR...plus D-line is smashed to pieces. ST is what we knew it would be. Just a selection of bad Packer news.

So any good news - at all? Well, I'm going against every fibre in my body and say:

Packers 24 Dolphins 23

Predicting a win here make no sense to me but if Packers can't win sunday then the season is going to be REALLY long. Gotta win!!!

A lot of people I have talked to keep telling me the packers will lose. But I really think the packers can win even with all these injuries. I hope this is the week the offense puts in together.

Packers 38
Fins 20

If we lose this game I don't think we make the playoffs.

Dolphins WR's = one of the slowest units in the league. I'm not saying they're bad, because they have Marshall who is a top 3 WR and Bess who is great at 3rd downs. I point to this because maybe Woodson was having trouble play the burners and really quick WR's.

Anyways, it'll be a good game. We have a good run D... but somehow the Dolphins have the 4th best pass defense :?:

Packers 31
Dolphins 24 (7 in garbage time)

I've been to both home games this year, so I guess the big question is whether the Packers can win without me there. I'm gonna say they can, although it won't be easy.

Packers 27
Dolphins 20

I'll be there 8-)

I hope its a high scoring game for the pack. Offense in a rhythm and lots of balls in receivers hands.

Re: the Packers' offensive inconsistencies through the first five games.

“I don't think there's any one thing. I think we need to block better, we need to run better, we need to throw better, we need to catch better. The offense needs...”- LG - Daryn Colledge,

If Aaron Rodgers is right health wise. We squeeze one out here.

Score: Packers 30 - Dolphins 23

GO PACKERS!

Rodgers and the WRs go off like they were supposed to last week and the Green Blob throws in enough running plays to keep the Fin D off balance.

Pack - 38

Flippers - 24

I don't know why, but I can see the Pack winning this one, something like 24-23.

I think the packers offense finally breaks out. Lee does a decent job at TE (he is an experienced former starter for us in this same offense, after all) and gains 70 yards. DD nabs 8 grabs for a 110 yards and TD, GJ brings back the slant game with a solid 5 catches for 89 yards and a back shoulder TD grab.

Kuhn punches 2 td's in himself, and Crosby nails a 58 yard field goal before the end of half.

38 - 31 packers. Unfortunately, the game still remains close despite the offense finally coming on, because the packers defense is just having too hard of a time overcoming injuries.

Brandon Marshall coming to town, and possibly tyhe best twoi headed running attack in the NFL. Game ends with a Woodson pick on Miami's final drive.

First game this season where the offense is in sync and looks like we know it can. 45 - 13 Packers win.

I think the packers offense finally breaks out. Lee does a decent job at TE

My intuition shares this view, but I will add some thoughts as tho the why.

Finley isn't the centre of the gameplan for the first time in a long time. The WR corps are now the centrepiece of the Offense, not the supporting cast.

Look, I love Finley's talent, so before anyone gets the idea I'm not glad he's on their roster, I want to nip that notion in the bud. It's just that IMO, M3 and, to an extent, Rodgers have been too focussed on the guy and that's caused an inbalance in the offensive chemistry.

Now I fully expect Patler to provide stas that absolutely hit my opinion into space. But the uncharacteristic play of DD and Jennings lead me to these conclusions.

Packers 35 - 23.

OK :)

Wide open, fan entertaining, nail biting at the end, relief wheeeuuing game.
