I would say they are dropping like flies, but I don't think flies drop this fast.

You obviously use ecological friendly crap. Buy the real stuff. Then your flies will drop like Packer Defenders.

There's a difference between bad luck and bad training and conditioning. Too bad nobody knows what the hell it is.

Funny you should ask. Havner went on the Lion's IR last week (apparently he brought whatever is ailing the Packers this year with him when he went to Detroit). And then he got waived off of the IR this week.

Can't sign anyone who has an injury settlement until the number of weeks paid is complete.

Are we at the 'wait 'til next year" stage yet?

They had to maintain their average of at least 1 player injured enough for IR per week.

I'm sure somehow someone will find a way to get hurt and go on IR during the bye week.

I'm pretty close to being there as far as Super Bowl aspirations go. I still think the playoffs are a real possibility though.

All these injuries are going to make for a fascinating training camp next year. Young guys like Quarless, Bishop, Shields, C.J. Wilson, Jarius Wynn, Charlie Peprah, Nance, Zombo and maybe Starks are going to get valuable playing time this year they would not otherwise have gotten. The competition for starting jobs and roster spots will be great to watch.

I believe that only applies for the team that cut the player.

Nope. While he gets paid for IR, he can't play. The team that cuts him hast to wait an additional 6 (or was it 8) weeks, so they can't use this like a short-term IR.

I keep rationalizing to myself how we can get through this and be competitive in the playoffs....then the guy I just used to rationalize it gets IRed and I have to start over....good god man!!

Don't say that! If someone gets hit by a car, do they qualify for the IR?
