I'm convinced this is just for recon. Green was drafted in 2002 and has played with a million teams since then. They'll pick his brain for anything helpful and send him on his way before he plays a single snap.

I wouldn't be so sure about it being 100% recon. The Packers don't really have the tendency or roster luxury to just be grabbing guys to scout off during the week. He fills an obvious need and is a huge body. If his health checks out I could see him sticking around for DL depth which we are in absolute need of.

Looks like he'll see some action. If Jenkins can play (which he is leaning towards) then we'll have a decent rotation.

i was calling for his head three years ago...injuries had/has nothing to do with it. it's his playcalling pure and simple.
