All indicators say we won't be able to hold up against the run, which means cheating safety's and corners, which opens the medium to deep passing game.

A lot will depend on game plan... I think we're undermanned, so taking a lesson from Sun Tzu, I think our best chance would be to bring constant pressure. I would expect to get beat a few times playing this style, but the increased chance of producing positive defensive plays, and the likelihood that you'll force more stops on 3rd down outweighs the risk.

This is pretty much exactly my line of thinking. I thought this would be a loss before teh season started and with the injuries the Pack has I just don't see us coming out with a win today. I'll be pleasantly surprised if we win and really impressed.

All I'm really hoping for is that we stay injury free today. Then beat Dallas next week, go into the bye 5-4, and get a little bit healthier to make a run in a relatively weak NFC.

I'm with you re #12. I don't think he needs 4 TDs but he needs to dictate the flow of the game if we're going to take it. BJack, TEs, receiving corps obviously need to do their part but it all starts with Rodgers establishing a good rhythm. If they can move the ball and finish drives they will control the game. They can't let the Jets D dictate the game.

I'd like to see some shorter passes. Try some backside runs - need to get something going on the ground - give the D a chance to get their wind.

im all for upside. i'm all for player development. but this is a game where a statement is needed. put lee in there for an important play early on
