Maybe I'm wrong, but wasn't one of the reasons the Pack brought him in because he was already in town, i.e. he still lives in Green Bay?

So who gets Montgomery's roster spot? Harris? Bigby? And does this mean DE is not an issue?

My impression, listening to the staff and players. . . I've ignored what I've read by journalists, and stuck pretty much iwth reliable sources (MM, Harris and Bigby). . . .

I think Bigby is really close. Harris is not nearly as close. He's past teh point of worrying about damage to the knee, but I don't think he's really strong and fast the way he wants to be. He can play, I don't think he'll be himself, and I think they'll buy as much time as possible for him.


Bigby on the other hand, I think he's the guy who comes back unless Starks finds a way into a small package on offense.
