anyone have any idea how much it costs any team to make all the throwback stuff just for the team/coaches, etc...?

Bretsky

Saints at Cincy sixteen.....second and twelve
Got one yard
They are down by three

Less than two minutes left......third and fourteen

Why did Cullen Jenkins just stand up and turn around at the snap of the ball?

I saw the same thing. Looked like he thought the play was dead. Hope it's not an injury.

Big call for saints - 4th and 2. 1 min left with a weak kicker... Saints go for it.

Bretsky
12-05-2010, 03:05 PM
Fourth and two at seven

PAYTON IS A GENIUS

IMO he's keeping offense out there so the Bengals do not call a timeout

Then he'll call a TO and kick a field goal

He hurt his calf, that's why.

Did we finally force a turnover. It's been almost 10 quarters.

Now let Arod throw for 5 yards.

They were trying to draw them offside and DID

So here's my questions for you experts: Collins's interception is under review. If that's reversed and called an incomplete pass, can the Packers go back and then accept the penalty that was called on the 49ers?

Jimx29
12-05-2010, 03:12 PM
What did they do this time?

not 100% sure. A buddy of mine on fb posted it and I looked at my stream of the game but the stream is really shitty. I think it's about a fumble that looked to me like lions had it but ruled for bears.

Bretsky
12-05-2010, 03:12 PM
So the Bengals throw a screen to the slow white guy
he's tackled with fourteen second left

Clueless Carson Palmer starts organizing the team to ground the ball and realized there is no time
Calls a TO with eight seconds

He lost a play

Coaching; inexcusable

Fire Marvin Lewis yesterday already

Well, after a rocky start, this worked out, other than Jenkins's injury. Let's hope that's not serious. Need a "W" in Detroit next week.

Its the same calf injury he has had for several games now.

My aunt works at Ripon Jacket, in Berlin, WI(hometown)...which is where 28 of the 32 NFL jerseys are made....this is the first year they produce new jerseys for all games...if the jersey is badly damaged, the team gets it to sell or donate, if they can be fixed they rotate 3 jerseys and undo every stitch and redo. I don't know what they do with the throwbacks or one use jerseys.

Joemailman
12-05-2010, 03:28 PM
Starks with 18 rushes for 73 yards. Packers now have a RB rotation that makes sense. Starks gets most of the carries, Kuhn for short yardage, and B-jack goes back to 3rd down back which he's good at.

I agree - but the sack on the next play sorta nixed that issue.

Just ordered my blue ACME Packers stockhat; got 50% off of second item (a Packers T-shirt). Probably getting screwed by Danish costums now.

Sorry to guy that offered to buy for me - another time ok? There's less than 1 hour on the above offer of nfl.com shop with 50% off of second item.; the blue stockhat wasn't at packersproshop....weird?

I will sue nflshop.com if I don't get it. It's so cool plus I am a wacky Packer fan - ME WANTS IT !

I only paid 8.99$ for CuffKnit + 24.99$ for nice Tee + 20$ postage + getting screwed by Danish costums (app. 50$)....the latter sucks BIG TIME! Not made of money as family & I work hard.

There's a chance though what I evade costums...if they're lazy. I give myself 25% chance of evading costums.

Odd. I could make one of those in a couple hours minus the embroidery. Very easy to do and if there's a patch on the pro-shop site, then the embroidery's taken care of...

Just tell him/her (trying to be politically correct here) that you are knitting it for someone in need. You don't have to specify that the "need" is for a specific out of stock Packer cap.

I suspect it depends on what you're knitting, but that's not really a conversation for a game thread.

Really, you just need to start knitting those hats as a nervous habit. Leave them just laying around the house. When pressed on it say "I just need something to do with my hands". Eventually, start giving them away because you just don't have any more room to put hats.

Problem with that logic is that I already DO knit as a nervous habit and have hats, scarves, hand warmers, Christmas stockings, etc. everywhere. I think if I'm going to start making hats for people, it better start for him...

On TV, those helmets look maroon. In photos, they look brown. They need to adjust for TV before using them again. Perhaps Lowe's could do some color matching for them. Or RustOleum.
