I'm personally hoping for the underdog in EVERYGAME, (unless the colts are favored, which locally everyone belive the ol crappy jets will win.) I'm at work, and need a link to the game...no cable here...can I get any help from my fellow rats.

Totally fits with the Bears season that they will get to the NFC Championship by having to beat a 7-9 team in Soldier Field.

and we lost to Detroit. We know the Bears pretty well. I don't think anybody thinks we had any excuses for game one. I'd take da Bears in a second over NO (any Greg Williams defense worries me against our OL), Phily, or Atlanta

He still stinks out loud as an NFL coach. But it was a nice game. Where was that the rest of the season?

Of course, the Saints were up and down all season. And missing their best safety. Even Sharper couldn't save them.

They need to get Mayock on more games.

I like him, but he is still unfamiliar with some NFL rules. He was babbling about how the non-interference call was correct because the DB turned around to find the ball. That isn't the rule anymore.

My suspicion is that the Colts miscalculated by kicking the FG.

3 and out; kind of glad Indy gets the ball back

don't care if they score or not but it gives them the chance and that poor FA who ran into the kicker won't get blamed for the loss

I thought he was awful. Telling us that the two point conversion was the biggest play in either team's season, when everybody knew the ensuing on sides kick was the far bigger play bordered on ridiculous.

I don't rely on the stats much in judging playeres I've watched a lot.........but hopefully those who like to use them were watching Lynch today. Seattle's OL is terrible...............

Marshawn Lynch is no Brandon Jackson

Scott Campbell

Hopefully fans smitten by a singular spectacular run do a sanity check and peek at the stats.

Bretsky
01-08-2011, 10:47 PM
Hopefully fans would have watched many of his college and pro games so they don't have to rely solely on one run or solely the stats. While they are at it they can take note of some of the Packer reject OL being housed in Seattle.

I never argued we had to trade for Lynch; but I continue to feel it's ludicrious to compare the levels of talent between Brandon Jackson and Marshawn Lynch regardless of what the black and white stats read.

or peek at the team in general. stats aren't always an indicator for just an individual player.

edit: see post before mine.

Brandon494

That run by Marshawn Lynch showned exactly why we should have traded for him earlier in the season. Those who said Brandon Jackson is just as good are wrong. Of course they will also say look at the stats without factoring in the teams the Lynch has played for this season. Both teams had weak passing games and also were down a lot this season which resulted in running the ball less. Hopefully Starks can get some more carries and TT look like a genius yet again.
