Quite the honor. I wonder if TWill is gonna bring home any awards. Sadly not even a pro bowl patch for his letterman's jacket.

TWill will bring home the coveted and prestigious Pro Bowl Snub Of The Year Trophy.

Wow! Two in a row. TT Sucks! I can see Matthews giving Wood a little hell this week. He's had a great season above and beyond his prowess as a pass rusher. Congrats!

As far as TWill, there's a long, proud tradition of guys making the Pro Bowl the year after they should. He'll just become part of it next year.

Bloodline.

That'd be a pretty good nickname for him.

Is this the official award that Woodson won last year or is this just the Sporting News version?

Congrats to CM3 for receiving well deserved props. Fucking love that crazy white boy!

Just the Sporting News version. I think Deion Sanders might have come up with "Bloodline". One of those former players on the NFL Network.

I'm pretty sure it was Jamie Dukes. Is the official award announced after the Superbowl or prior to? I can't remember.

Could be. I just heard Prime Time saying it a bunch of times on Sunday night.

.

First time I heard CMIII referred to as "Bloodlines" was the day he was drafted. Pretty sure it was Rich Eisen who said something sorta like: "So it's The Packers who trade up to go "bloodlines", as Clay Matthews comes from a very successful football family"

Since everybody is giving it a try; I actually thought it was Warren Sapp who actually started naming him like that.

This thread is a tease. Winning this award means very little. You have to win the one that Wood won last year. :)

If Claymaker misses out on the big prize, I blame BlueBrewer.

Didn't Woodie win the SN's DPOY last season? Let's hope history repeats itself!

I like Claymaker, but of course, I'm biased.
